Liberty vs. Leviathan

Chronicling Liberty's battle against Leviathan

Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina…

I’ll be forever grateful to The Western Confucian for introducing me to the Carolina Chocolate DropsWatching this clip brings back fond memories of growing up in the area they’re from.  As a kid in the 60s and 70s you could still hear Bluegrass if you got the right people together at a family reunion or neighborhood get together.  I can remember seeing people play moonshine jugs and spoons, but never sticks.

The banjo was always my favorite.  Maybe this is a reason why:  From the “About” page…“The nuances of piedmont stringband music stem from the demographics of the piedmont and thereby its focus on the banjo as the lead instrument.”
